Rebecca Edery is a video and sound artist whose practice is grounded in writing. She is working collaboratively as part of Park Bench to recontextualise the exhibition experience through textworks. This year-long project is a research-based exploration into how art exhibitions could ask more of its audience’s time and participation, and become contextualised in its audience’s lives. The project aims to produce an exhibition that holds together, does not fragment. She currently works at the Centre for Print Research, UWE Bristol and is a participant of East Bristol Contemporary’s day school.
