‘one of a lot of’ (Lily Frances, 2021)
Lily Frances is an artist and poet. She graduated BA Fine Art (Chelsea College of Arts) in 2017, and now lives in Bristol. Lily’s work explores non-verbal modes of communication, like touch, and texting. She considers the resonance of certain images and objects in relation to oblique complexities of mood and atmosphere. Lily sometimes writes about fine art, making direct reference to artists, artforms, and titles, citing both the ‘old masters’ and her friends. Previously, Lily has made set-like installations for the performance of text-based works. Her poetry collection sugar baby matisse was published by If A Leaf Falls Press in 2022.
